Aloha to all my faithful readers. I am here in Hilo today. It is a clear and beautiful day. Both Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa are covered with snow. Laurine and I are going to go to the top of the strip road to see if the snow is low enough to get into. Does that make sense?

Halema'uma'u is doing its thing and so are the earthquakes. Did not get a chance to check on Yellowstone today. Not much else is going on so will close. God bless and be good to each other.

Can't believe that you have more snow in Hawaii than the entire State of Florida! Hope you can make a snowball or two. Just don't throw any in MY direction! History Channel re-aired the Mega Disaster episode featuring the Big Island. Hope Lani and Richie know they are living in a flow zone! Everybody should move to Kohala - or Waimea -the safest places. Any big plans for Caysen's BD ?

Just an update for those that arent familiar with lava zones and the Island of Hawai'i. Rich and I live in a lava zone 3, same as all of Hilo, (just different volcano). Pahoa is a lava zone 2, and the Kalapana area is a lava zone 1. This I learned during the 4 years of insurance work that I did, since most insurance companies aren't too keen on insuring homes in lava zones 1 or 2. So that means that we're not going to worry about lava flows until they happen. Although living in Waimea would be nice, except its too wet, cold, and moldy (kinda like Volcano). Kohala would be nice too, except everything there costs a million dollars!!! Oh well.
