Another day.

Aloha: Today is the kind of day when one realises that there is no other place more beautiful than Volcano! The only thing missing is the movement of air; ie wind. There is a slight breeze that is keeping the vog out of the village, but it would be perfect if the wind would pick up about 5 to 7 mph. It is now 72 on the "sunny" side of the house, cloudy bright and dry. We have a dog that lives on the porch and it does not bother him on bit that the doves and myna birds eat his food. Boy, do the birds leave a mess.

Tremor is up at our volcano. Other than that all else is SOS.

I am feeling a little depressed. It seems that our ship of state is going down by the nose. The idea of a "VAT" was run up the flag pole and nobody in the majority party voiced any objection. The tax on tobacco was raised and the tax on beer is going up. Do you know that most people who smoke and drink beer earn less than $200,000 a year?
