Aloha: My wife and her brother and brother's friend, my oldest, her significant other and who knows who else will be going to Ka Lae for the long weekend. I will be going to Manuel's house with Anakam, Topher, CJ, Kohala sister and my B-I-L, and others. You can see Hilo Bay from Manuel's house so it is a nice place to watch the fireworks for the $th of July.
It is now official.....the joker won the Senate seat from Minnesota. When the sitting Senator gave up the race he told the winner that the best part of the job is representing the people in the Senate. Proof positive that these politicians have no idea on what they are doing in Washington. The members of the Senate are not the representatives of the people. They are the representative of the state and are the defenders of the 10th amendment of the Constitution of the United States. It took an amendment to the Constitution to allow the people of the states to vote for their states' Senators.
It was a bright and sunny morning today, but cloudy and dark this afternoon.
