Snail Mail

Aloha: We all know the difference between e-mail and snail mail. How about this for snail mail. Months ago my wife went to Kaho'olawe. While there she "lost" her cell phone. It really was the HFD's cell phone. She got in touch with the guy in charge of taking care of the place where the workers stay while on Kaho'olawe and he found the cell phone. He mailed it to my wife on April 15th from Maui and we got it yesterday, the 12th on June. Now that is SNAIL MAIL!!!! For those of you who do not live in Hawaii, you can see Maui from the island of Hawaii. Maybe 8 hours by canoe?

Today my wife had to teach some tour operators how to administer O2 because they take tourist up the mountain. (13,000 foot elevation) I think I wrote about going to Kona a while back because she had to teach the same class to a tour company there.

The weather this morning was a little iffy, but it has turned into a glorious day.

Our Volcano is chugging along. Tremor is up and down with the plume turning brown when it goes up and turning wispy when tremor goes down. Oh, did you hear the news! An investigation of the Mount Saint Helens area has turned up a magma reservoir larger than that under Yellowstone. Turns out that Saint Helens is just the tip of a Super Volcano. Back to "our Volcano"; all is SOS.

Take care and may God bless you and may He bless the USA!
