Aloha kakou: I am here sitting my grandson and he has finally gone to sleep. It is raining and I think I heard some thunder. Hard to tell as some trucks make the same sound. At home in God's country it is much quieter so you know when the ball hits the pins.

Things at "our" volcano are just about unchanged. The Pu'u 'O'O vent has been going for longer that my daughter has been alive, and now it looks like Halema'uma'u just might join in on the marathon. It was in the 1920s that Halema'uma'u ended over 100 years of activity. (I wish this site would allow me to add words to its dictionary.)

It looks like the rain will be here for the rest of the week so no walks in the park for me. You all be good and may God bless.
